Infosys, a leading provider of business consulting, information technology & outsourcing services, wanted The PRactice to change its perception among people, about Infosys being an ‘Only Services Provider’ company. They wanted to promote Infosys as an IT solutions company.
In partnership with the Internal PR team of Infosys, The PRactice identified loopholes. We designed a standard message to communicate Infosys’s role as an innovative tech solutions company in various technology areas. Additionally, we formulated a 3-level action plan.
Firstly, The PRactice focused on briefing journalists on the technology work being done at Infosys. Secondly, we targeted national media houses for a 1-on-1 interview regarding the same. And lastly, we identified relevant tech industry publications and followed up with them for better opportunities.
The PRactice strategically identified key technology areas of this sector to leverage best PR activities. We highlighted the innovative and newest technological efforts of Infosys. Another important aspect of the drive was to prioritize interactions with the established champions of Infosys. We made our way through the crowd with our creative engagements, ensuring that people participated in various events and forums, winning exciting gifts.
The campaign continued for three quarters and led to successfully positioning Infosys as an IT giant. It was successful in showcasing the work of the technology team at Infosys. We received a positive response from the media industry as well. The PRactice team helped Infosys in sustaining its multicultural workforce and maintaining its global footprint.
